お久しぶりです。更新が途絶えてしまいました。ごめんなさい。
　It’s been a long time since I wrote last time. I am sorry for it.
　この一週間は、スウェーデンエコツアー（下見ツアー）というものに参加していました。エコツアーを主に専門としている旅行会社・リボーンの壱岐さん、そして持続可能なスウェーデン協会のレーナさんが主催しているものです。今回は特別に、アシスタント（と記録係）という役目で参加者の皆さんとご一緒させていただきました。アシスタントといいながらもあまりお役に立てず、むしろみなさんに色々とお世話になってしまったかもしれませんが…。本当にありがとうございました。
　I have joined the environmental study trip to Sweden from Japan. This tour group was organized by IKi-san, who run a Japanese tourism company “REBORN” and Lena-san, who is the japan representative of “Sustainable Sweden Association”. I was exceptionally allowed to joint it as a assistant. Now I hope that I could help the participants spend a good time in Sweden. At least I myself enjoyed it very much and learned a lot about the environmental policy of Sweden. I am really grateful for this opportunity.

　今回のエコツアーのテーマは、「環境の取り組みを、市民の視点と行政の視点からで学ぶ」。壱岐さんいわく「下見」ということでしたが、レーナさんのガイド、世界の最先端のエコ住宅や施設の視察、そして環境に一家言を持つ参加者同士での交流など、とっても密度の濃いものでした。
　The aim of this eco-tour is to learn how Sweden tackle the environmental from from the view point of citizen and administration. Iki-san expressed this tour as kind of preliminary test, but it was in fact incredibly great tour.
　個人的にも、さまざまなバックグラウンドを持つ参加者の皆さんと交流できて有意義でした。最前線の政策に関わっている方々、建築家の方々、ガーデナー（庭師）の方、環境教育に関わっている方などバラエティーに富んだ組み合わせで、視察場所ではあらゆる角度から鋭い質問が飛び交いました。環境といっても、土地所有や建築の問題、教育、地方自治、ひいては政治や民主主義の問題に繋がっていき、政治を専攻している自分にとってすべてが有機的に結びつき、学びの連続でした。
　I found it very interesting to meet and talk with many participants who work for various field, such as policy maker, architect, lawmaker, gardener, and so on. I was surprised to know that environmental issues are relating to a lot of areas, and you have to consider not only who owns the land, how to architect city planning, but also education and democracy. As a student majoring political science, I found this opportunity fantastic.
　ツアーの行程は、ストックホルムに三泊。デンマークに近いマルモに三泊―その間にデンマークのコペンハーゲンや、マルモの少し北にあるヘルシンボリも訪問―。観光バスを全く使わず、市バスや鉄道、地下鉄に乗り、ひたすら歩く。マルメ市では風も強く寒かったですが、全体的に太陽の光に恵まれました。参加者のなかには「ホッカイロいっぱい持ってきたけど、必要ないわ」という方も。
　The tour was six days long. We stayed both in Stockholm and Malmo for three days respectively. During stay in Malmo, we visited Kopenhargen and Hersingborg. We only used city-bus and subway and walked a lot. It was colder in Malmo with wind blowing but we had enough luck to have sun. One of the participants didn’t even use their Hokkairo, which is a kind of handy heating stuff.
　メインの視察場所としては次の三つです。町全体がエコ仕様になっているという、ストックホルム市の「ハンマルビー（Hammarby）」。そして、グリーンシティーといわれるマルメ(Malmo)市、その西海岸の一角にある「ヴェストラハンメン（Vastra Hanmen＝West Harbor)―ここは地域のエネルギーを１００％再生可能エネルギーで賄う予定―」。そしてヘルシンボリ市のＮＳＲというゴミ廃棄施設およびバイオガス施設、環境教育施設（環境教育のためだけの世界でも類を見ない施設）なども視察しました。（ヘルシンボリ市のところは、日本でもほとんど紹介されていないところです）
　Main places for study are following. ①Hammarby sjostad in Stockholm. ② Vastra Hanmen in Malmo. ③ The biogas and waste treatment center, and education institution for environment in Hersingborg―These institutions are hardly known in Japan.

　政府レベルのみならず、市や自治体で目標設定をしてそれに向かって邁進しているスウェーデンの姿を見ると、日本も頑張らないといかんなと思いました。日本にも先進的に取り組んでいる自治体はたくさんあると思いますが、やはり数値目標を設定するところまでいっていない。おそらくそれをやっているのは東京都くらいではないでしょうか。(日本の場合は政府レベルでも目標が出せていませんが、もう自治体レベルでどんどん進めていくべきでしょう）。
　After looking at the places like this, I strongly felt that japan also should try to tackle the environmental problems more seriously. Although I think some municipalities in Japan are involved quite well in these issues, there are no such cities as in Sweden where they set a concreate goal for the problem of greengas reduction. ( I would say the only exception is Tokyo). Although even Japanese government don’t set a concrete goal for the problem, I think each municipality should tackle these by themselves.
　今回のツアーで見て学んだことを発火点として、これから残りの4ヶ月、いろいろとアンテナを張って色々と見て回ってみたいと思っています。のちほど、今回の視察の簡単な報告書をまとめます。いまから一週間ほどロンドンに行くのでもう少しあとになってしまいますが。それではまた！！
